I sat surrounded by the trees, enjoying the peaceful moment. I just can't understand the fighting, what would Earth gain from taking the Lakes? The Water's claim to them was solid, far better than that of Earth's. I glared at a tree stump, the fighting was pointless. Many were dying, on both sides, and the reward was not going to be able to equal the number of lost lives. At least not in her opinion, she thought. People are worth far more than any territory.
I picked up a stone and turned my glare to that, not that it was the rock's fault. It just didn't make sense! "Stupid, stupid war!" I muttered as I flung the stone down.
